Air and Sea Show on Miami Beach Memorial Day Weekend
The Air and Sea Show presented by Hyundai took place on the beautiful shores of Miami Beach. “The Greatest Show Above the Earth” showcased the men, women, technology and equipment from all five branches of the United States Military as well as our police, firefighters and their first responder agencies. The two- day spectacular event featured offshore power powerboat racing demonstrations, extreme water sports and demonstrations from US Navy Blue Angels. Fly by from the Stealth Bombers and precision exercises from the U.S. Army had the crowd of 50,000 cheering with joy.
Catholic Hospice were proud sponsors at the event and were showcased in the display village. At the display village, spectators can practice their flying skills with the U.S. Air Force’s flight simulator, put their problem-solving skills to the test with a bomb-disabling game and watch a live performance by the Air Force’s rock ‘n’ roll band. “What better way to to pay a tribute to our Military, First Responders and those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our freedom than the a National Salute to America’s Heros on Memorial Day weekend” states Wendi Nemeroff, Community Liaison for Catholic Hospice.
“The Hyundai Air and Sea show is all about saying thanks to the men and women who have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and we really need to bring back the true spirit of what Memorial day is all about,” Mickey Markoff, show’s executive producer said.
The 3rd annual event was a true success . . an experience like no other.
